SISTERSCOPE

Privacy Policy

Effective September 7, 2026

Launch draft: This policy should be reviewed by qualified privacy counsel before large-scale public promotion.

Information we collect

SisterScope may collect account information such as name, email, region, membership application responses, rule acknowledgments, posts, comments, reports, moderation records, subscription status, and technical information needed to secure and operate the service. Payment-card information is handled by Stripe and is not stored in the SisterScope database.

How information is used

Information is used to create and secure accounts, review applications, operate paid membership access, provide community features, moderate content, investigate reports, process disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Anonymous posting

When a member chooses the anonymous option, other members are not shown that member's account identity on the post. Authorized staff may retain account attribution for moderation, safety, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

Service providers

SisterScope uses service providers including Supabase for authentication/database infrastructure, Vercel for web hosting, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.

Retention and security

SisterScope aims to retain information only as reasonably needed for account operation, moderation, disputes, security, legal compliance, and recordkeeping. No security system is infallible.

Your choices

Members can cancel paid subscriptions through the available billing controls. Requests concerning account data, access, or deletion should be handled through the business contact that SisterScope publishes before broad launch.

Children

SisterScope is not intended for anyone under 18.
